Export Certificates

The National U.S. - Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC), established 50 years ago, is America’s longest serving organization dedicated to U.S. - Arab business. NUSACC is the only business entity in the United States that is officially recognized and authorized by the League of Arab States and the General Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture. In addition, NUSACC is the only Chamber of its kind to win the coveted “E” Award for Export Service, conferred by the President of the United States.

Companies may now apply for export certifications, like Certificate of Origin (COO), Certificate of Free Sale (CFS), and Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). What are Certificates of Origin?

When shipping goods that are produced, manufactured, or processed in the United States, export shipment regulations require extensive documentation. The Certificate of Origin (COO) serves as proof that a product being exported meets certain criteria to be considered as originating in and/or processed in a particular country.

What are Certificates of Free Sale?

A Certificate of Free Sale (CFS) is known by several names in the exporting industry. They are sometimes referred to as Certificates of Export. In simple terms, these documents serve as proof that a product being exported to another country has been freely and legally marketed, distributed, and sold in the United States of America. Importing countries require this documentation as verification of the international trade of commerce.
