  4. Agency Agreements
  5. Sole Distributorship
  6. Translations of Certain Agreements into Arabic
  7. Real Estate and Property Documents
  8. Employment Letters with Arab Companies or Affiliates - Resumes
  9. Bid or Tender Letters
  10. Registration of Corporations, Partnerships, or Joint Ventures
  11. Any Other Documents of Legal Nature

The Following Should Be Done For Documents To Be Considered Legal:

  1. Notarized by a notary public;
  2. Attested to by the County Clerk where the notary is commissioned;
  3. Authenticated by the Secretary of the State in which the document is executed;
  4. Authenticated by the State Department in Washington, D.C., (tel) 202 647-5002;
  5. Certified by the National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce (at client's request), (tel) 202 289-5920, ext. 538;
  6. Legalized by the appropriate embassy or consulate.

Certification by the National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce:

  1. The National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce charges $25.00 for the document which has to be certified (after the State Department's approval). In addition, copies cost $25.00 even if the documents are identical. A copy of the original document must be submitted for the Chamber files even after the State Department's seal is affixed.
  2. For return by overnight courier, please send fully completed airway bill with account number, address, and telephone number; check off "Bill Recipient."
  3. For return by regular or express mail, please send a pre-stamped self addressed envelope to one of the certification offices.
