Dear Colleague,
I am pleased to announce the newest addition to the NUSACC team, Ms. Pauline Shams, who joins the Chamber as Senior Program Officer.

Pauline A. Shams is a specialist on the Middle East & North Africa regions who has experience in program management, proposal development, program implementation, events coordination, and training design. She has worked on projects directly related to Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia. Prior to joining the National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Shams worked for ICF International, Freedom House, the Middle East Institute, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and the Council on Foreign Relations focusing on the MENA region. She played a leading role in developing proposals and implementing programs funded by the U.S. Department of State, USAID, and the Ford Foundation in the region.
Ms. Shams holds an M.A. in International Training and Education from American University in Washington, D.C. and earned a B.A. in Political Science and French from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. She speaks Arabic, French, and English and has studied Chinese and Hindi.
